Welcome to careercoin.io website. These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern the use of our website and the services we offer (“Services”).

By accessing the website and using our Services, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

Use of Services

Careercoin.io website is a professional social network that allows users to search for jobs, take courses, add friends, send messages, and post job advertisements. Users can be rewarded with virtual tokens called “CareerCoin” for their actions within the platform, as well as receive reductions for other types of actions, such as failing to comply with terms and conditions. Users are responsible for the information they publish within the platform, including information on their profile and job advertisements. The careercoin.io website is not responsible for false data created by users, as well as for fake job advertisements. The company will monitor and ban users who violate these rules. Users are required to provide truthful and accurate information. Otherwise, the user’s account may be closed. 

The minimum age to use the careercoin.io website is 18 years. 

To access our services, you must confirm that you are at least 18 years old and have not had your account suspended or revoked by CareerCoin in the past.

 

The user is only allowed to use CareerCoin services for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms and Conditions. 

The user agrees not to use the services for:

• Creating a fake identity on CareerCoin, misrepresenting one’s own identity, creating a user profile for someone other than oneself (a real person), or using or attempting to use someone else’s account; 

• Developing, supporting, or using software, devices, scripts, robots, or any other means or processes (including crawlers, plugins, and browser add-ons, or any other technology) to scrape the Services or otherwise copy profiles and other data from the Services; • Disabling any security feature or bypassing or circumventing any access control or usage limit of the Service (for example, maximum number of keyword searches or profile views); 

• Copying, using, disclosing, or distributing any information obtained from the Services, directly or through third parties (e.g. search engines), without the consent of CareerCoin; 

• Disclosing information that one does not have the right to disclose (e.g. confidential information of others, including one’s employer); 

• Violating the intellectual property rights of others, including copyrights, patents, trademarks, trade secrets, or other proprietary rights. For example, do not copy or distribute (except through the sharing feature available) posts or other content of others without their permission, which they may grant by publishing under a Creative Common license.

The user is responsible for the content they publish on the platform and guarantees thatthey have the right to use it and do not violate the rights of third parties.The user agrees not to use the platform for illegal or offensive purposes andnot to interfere with its operation or related systems.

Our Services allow you to send messages and share information in various ways, such as through your profile, articles, group posts, links to articles, job postings, messages. The information and content that you share or post may be viewed by other Users, Visitors, or third parties (both within and outside of the Services). Where we have made settings available, we will respect the choices you make regarding who can view the content or information (such as message content to your recipients, sharing content only with careercoin connections, limiting the visibility of your profile on search engines, or choosing not to notify third parties of updates to your careercoin profile). With regard to job search activities, we have set the default to not send alerts to your network or audience. Therefore, if you apply for a job through our Service or choose to indicate your interest in a job posting, we will share the information only with the author of the job posting.

We are not obligated to publish any information or content on our Service and we may remove them at our sole discretion, with or without notice.

Changes to Terms and Conditions

We reserve the right to modify these Terms and Conditions at any time without prior notice. Any modifications will be effective immediately upon posting on our website or through the contact information provided at the time of registration. In the event of substantial changes, we will inform you through our Services or other means to give you the opportunity to review the changes before they become effective. By continuing to use our Services after such changes, you agree to be bound by the new Terms and Conditions. We also reserve the right to modify the amount of rewards and the ways to obtain them without prior notice. We agree that changes cannot be retroactive. If you do not agree to the modified Terms and Conditions, you may close your account. If you continue to use our Services after the publication or sending of a notice regarding the changes made to these terms and conditions, we will consider the updated terms and conditions to be accepted by you from the date they become effective.

User Responsibilities and Account Management.

The user is responsible for the content they publish on the platform and guarantees that they have the right to use it and do not violate the rights of third parties. The user agrees not to use the platform for illegal or offensive purposes and not to interfere with its operation or related systems.

Suspension or termination of the user’s account may occur if they violate these Terms and Conditions or applicable laws. The user may request the cancellation of their account at any time, after identity verification.

“Account Inactivity and Email Policy

We would like to remind our users that any account that has been inactive for a period of six (6) months may be deleted by CareerCoin. We reserve the right to delete accounts that have been inactive for this duration without any prior notice. Please note that if you wish to keep your account, you will need to log in at least once every six (6) months.

Additionally, we do not allow users to register with fake or temporary email addresses. All email addresses provided during registration must be valid and owned by the user. If we determine that an email address used during registration is fake or temporary, we may terminate the associated account without any prior notice.

Limitation of Liability

Disclaimer of Warranty This is our legal disclaimer regarding the quality, safety, and reliability of our Services. CAREERCOIN AND ITS AFFILIATES DISCLAIM ANY LIABILITY OR WARRANTY FOR THE SERVICES, INCLUDING THE WARRANTY THAT THE SERVICES WILL BE AVAILABLE FOREVER AND ERROR-FREE, AND PROVIDE THE SERVICES (INCLUDING CONTENT AND INFORMATION) “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE”. TO THE EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, CAREERCOIN AND ITS AFFILIATES DISCLAIM ANY IMPLIED OR STATUTORY WARRANTIES, INCLUDING IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF TITLE, DATA ACCURACY, NON-INFRINGEMENT, MERCHANTABILITY, OR FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE.

Limitation of Liability These are the legal limits of liability that we can apply. TO THE EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW (AND UNLESS CAREERCOIN HAS ENTERED INTO ANOTHER WRITTEN AGREEMENT THAT PREVAILS OVER THIS AGREEMENT), CAREERCOIN AND ITS AFFILIATES WILL NOT BE LIABLE UNDER THIS AGREEMENT FOR LOSS OF PROFITS OR BUSINESS OPPORTUNITIES, REPUTATION (E.G. OFFENSIVE OR DEFAMATORY STATEMENTS), LOSS OF DATA (E.G. UNAVAILABILITY OR LOSS, USE OF OR MODIFICATIONS TO YOUR INFORMATION OR CONTACTS), OR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, SPECIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES.

CAREERCOIN AND ITS AFFILIATES WILL NOT BE LIABLE TO YOU UNDER THIS AGREEMENT FOR ANY AMOUNTS THAT EXCEED (A) THE TOTAL FEES YOU PAID OR ARE PAYABLE TO CAREERCOIN FOR THE SERVICES DURING THE TERM OF THIS AGREEMENT, OR (B) USD 1000.

Basis of Agreement; Exclusions The limitation of liability in this Section 4 is part of the basis of the agreement between You and Careercoin and applies to all claims of liability (e.g. warranty, tort, negligence, contract, and law) even if Careercoin or its affiliates are aware of the possibility of such damages, and even if these actions do not achieve their essential purpose.

These limitations of liability do not apply to liability for death or personal injury, or for fraud, gross negligence, or willful misconduct, or for negligence consisting of the violation of a material obligation, a material obligation which is a prerequisite for the provision of services by us and on which you may rely, but only to the extent that the damages are directly caused by the violation and were foreseeable at the conclusion of this Agreement and to the extent that they are typical within the scope of this Agreement.Limitation of Liability 4.1 Disclaimer of Warranty This is our legal disclaimer regarding the quality, safety, and reliability of our Services. Content Guidelines

In order to maintain this professional atmosphere, we have established the following guidelines for acceptable content on our platform:

  1. All content must be relevant to the world of work and must not contain any material that is offensive, discriminatory, or defamatory in nature.

  2. Users must not use our platform to promote any illegal or unethical activities, products, or services.

  3. Users must not use our platform to engage in any form of harassment, bullying, or other inappropriate behavior towards other users.

  4. Users must not post any content that infringes on the intellectual property rights of others.

  5. Users are solely responsible for the content that they post on our platform, and we reserve the right to remove any content that violates these guidelines or is otherwise deemed inappropriate by our moderators.

Terms and Conditions for Job Advertisers on Careercoin

  1. Overview

1.1. These terms and conditions (“Terms”) govern the use of Careercoin’s job advertisement platform (“Platform”) by job advertisers (“Advertisers”).

1.2. By using the Platform, Advertisers agree to these Terms, as well as any additional terms, policies, or guidelines posted on the Platform.

  1. Advertiser Obligations

2.1. Advertisers must comply with all applicable laws and regulations in connection with their use of the Platform and the content they submit for job advertisements.

2.2. Advertisers must ensure that their job advertisements are accurate, complete, and not misleading. Advertisers must not include any discriminatory language or other material that could be considered offensive or inappropriate.

2.3. Advertisers must not use the Platform to advertise jobs that are illegal, fraudulent, or unethical in nature, or that involve any illegal or unethical activities.

2.4. Advertisers must promptly respond to any inquiries or applications received through the Platform, and must not discriminate against any applicants on the basis of their race, color, religion, gender, national origin, age, or any other protected characteristic.

2.5. Advertisers must maintain the confidentiality of any information received through the Platform, including any personal information of applicants.

  1. Payment and Fees

3.1. Advertisers must pay the fees specified on the Platform in connection with their use of the Platform and the publication of job advertisements.

3.2. Advertisers must pay all fees in a timely manner, and Careercoin reserves the right to suspend or terminate the Advertiser’s account if any fees are overdue.

  1. Intellectual Property

4.1. Advertisers retain all ownership rights in the content they submit for job advertisements.

4.2. Advertisers grant Careercoin a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide license to use, reproduce, and display the content for the purpose of providing the Platform and promoting the Platform and Careercoin’s services.

  1. Liability and Indemnification

5.1. Advertisers agree to indemnify and hold harmless Careercoin, its affiliates, and their respective directors, officers, employees, and agents from any and all claims, damages, liabilities, costs, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys’ fees) arising out of or in connection with the Advertiser’s use of the Platform or any breach of these Terms.

5.2. Careercoin shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising out of or in connection with the Advertiser’s use of the Platform or any job advertisement, even if Careercoin has been advised of the possibility of such damages.

5.3. Careercoin reserves the right to suspend or terminate the Advertiser’s account and remove any job advertisements without notice if Careercoin determines, in its sole discretion, that the Advertiser has violated these Terms.

  1. Miscellaneous

6.1. These Terms constitute the entire agreement between the Advertiser and Careercoin regarding the use of the Platform, and supersede all prior or contemporaneous agreements or understandings, whether written or oral.

6.2. These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the jurisdiction in which Careercoin is located, without giving effect to any choice of law or conflict of law provision or rule.

6.3. Any dispute arising out of or in connection with these Terms shall be resolved by arbitration in accordance with the rules of the American Arbitration Association, and judgment on the award rendered by the arbitrator(s) may be entered in any court having jurisdiction thereof

Final Provisions

If one or more provisions of these Terms and Conditions are found to be ineffective or unenforceable, it shall not affect the validity of the other provisions. Failure to apply one or more provisions shall not constitute a waiver of CareerCoin’s rights.
